By now you know, I am totally into personal development and with this year officially coming to an end, there’s pretty much only one thought in my head:
HOW DO I PREP THE BEST FOR 2020?
Maybe you have already read about the ‘Twelve Nights of Christmas’ Ritual I’m currently doing. If not, definitely check it out.
As always please just have an open mind about it.
But I would be a huge disservice to you guys if I didn’t let you in on one of my other crucial prep steps.
THE VISION BOARD
As you know, manifestations come through a specific order of steps.
One of those steps is visualisation and feeling that it is already on its way to you.
The clearer and more detailed you are with your current wish you want to manifest the better.
And do you know what the subconscious mind also likes very much?
So maybe you have dreamt of a house or your future flat (that is one of my big wishes for this year btw).
And I bet you have a picture in your head what the perfect house or flat would look like.
Now, if you want to intensify that picture, it’s a good idea to make a vision board using real-life magazines to cut out pictures from or doing it digitally, that’s up to you!
But let me go into the different options now 🙂
VISION BOARD CANVAS
First of all, I just want to press the point that you don’t, by any means, have to be creative for this.
You could easily just tape pictures on your wall an go on with your life 😀
But depending on the kind of person you are, you either want to do your vision board like a scrapbook by hand or digitally.
If you consider yourself a person that is hands-on and has different magazines at home or willing to buy a variety of them, be my guest, do it by hand 🙂
But most of us are either too lazy, to stubborn or simply practical and choose to do it digitally.
Let me tell you reasons I prefer the digital option:
- Millions of pictures to choose from online on google, pinterest, instagram, websites, facebook, online magazines, books etc.
- Portable vision board that you can always look at wherever you are.
- you can simply print out your canvas (that’s what I do) and have BOTH 😀
And I hear you already screaming, WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO DO IT?
CREATING YOUR VISION BOARD
Ok, this is important you guys.
DON’T SKIP THIS.
When doing a vision board this one prerequisite is CRUCIAL!
You have to be in an excited and loving mood.
You know manifestations don’t happen because of a particular thought, but because of the frequency of the underlying emotion.
Read that again. MANIFESTATIONS HAPPEN BECAUSE OF THE FREQUENCY OF THE UNDERLYING EMOTION.
Ok, got it?
Then let me ask you this question?
How do you FEEL right now?
If it’s not positive in any kind of way, please don’t do yourself a disservice and make your vision board at another time 🙂 (of course you can read the post until the end to know what to do though)
If you’re all hyped up and excited, let’s go!
So, even digitally you have multiple options, you could create it in:
- Adobe Spark
- Instagram (saves)
- Pages/Microsoft Word
And I bet so many more sites. Let me tell you why I choose Pages.
I love pages as it’s first of all already on every Macbook (if you use another computer model, there’s always a software to create documents – otherwise download openoffice or anything similar 🙂 ).
And second, it’s super easy to drag and drop pictures, quotes etc in. And you can add text too or doing it by hand later (if you choose to print it out).
Lastly, it gives me set dimensions perfectly suited to my printer and I can use as many pages as I want and make the into a big poster.
I’m showing you this year’s vision board now, so you know exactly what I mean.
I will get into if everything manifested into my reality later 🙂
So, now you know why I choose to use Pages, but you can choose for yourself which canvas you’d like to use.
Now that you have chosen, there’s only one step left.
And honestly there’s o right or wrong way to do it as long as you frequency is high.
You can search the web for, let’s say a red kitchen if that’s what you want in your flat. You can search for a blueprint that represents you perfect flat.
Go through each of your wishes and find at least 3 pictures that symbolise and describe that wish.
And you can do as much as you want.
As a reference, I give you examples of topics that could be relevant to what you want to manifest next year.
- Cultural Events
- Social Media Goals
- Meditation/Breathing exercises
- Graphics you like
And whatever comes to your mind and feels like you want to attract it into your life. Be as specific as you can be.
What you want is a clear feeling screaming: I WANT THAT!
Now get going!
SUCCESS RATE OF MY VISION BOARD
I told you, I would write about the success of my vision board.
And since you can see it above, you can check with me that a looooot of it has manifested.
But let me tell you here what I didn’t manifest:
- 147k followers on Instagram 😀
- A driver’s license
- travels to San Francisco, LA and South East Asia
- My dream house
- Being featured in a fashion magazine.
And that’s it. 5 things out of I don’t even know how many.
And like I said, I know why these 5 things didn’t manifest and if you also want to know, come join the FB Group, so you don’t make the same mistakes.
Because just because you make a vision board, doesn’t mean you miraculously get everything you want just like that.
And I want you to really embrace your responsibility in this manifestation work.
But guys, if you want to be REALLY successful, it’s best to get some accountability. And someone who is an expert in helping people accomplish their dreams.
And if you want someone like that, I can only say again and again, that I have a very magical approach in my coaching to transform people’s belief systems and help them have flourishing relationships with themselves and others.
If you want to test that out, you can ALWAYS book a FREE 30-min discovery call with me where I ACTUALLY HELP YOU with one of your struggles. Pinky promise.
Now, I really want to see the beautiful boards you created, so if you’re open to sharing, please send me a dm on @vam_po on Instagram or an e-mail.
And I see you in the next post!
