I just got this crazy idea of scribbling down my thoughts, because recently I thought about which attributes I appreciate in others and compared how I see myself.
Something strange followed. A feeling of absolute comfort and confidence. And if I ever feel down, I want to remember what I was saying to myself at that moment. So, here’s my love letter to myself.

I know, it’s weird writing this down, but seeing it, hearing it, living it are the only ways to break the cycle of self hatred. Not that I hated myself a lot, but even the smallest dissatisfaction is already a small act of self hatred.
In my opinion there’s a constant battle between our minds and our hearts, but the heart knows what it needs. So we need to succumb to it.
Because we are worthy, every second, every moment, now. Not just later. Feelings are okay, thoughts are okay, if they just come and go and we don’t judge or rate them. Acceptance is the key.
I dare you to write yourself your own love letter. Get crazy, be bold with it . Exaggerate, because desperate times call for desperate measures.
