remember my post about challenging you to stay fit in social distancing times?
Yeah, I hope you have kept it up.
It has been a month exactly now since I started and hopefully you too.
And I just want to give you a quick update about my journey.
So, here we go.
I am now 1/3 into the ‘Sculpt Guide’ by Zanna van Dijk and I already feel so much stronger.
Every time before a new section for 4 weeks start, you gotta do a challenge which consists of:
- How many burpees you can do in a minute
- How many push ups you can do with proper technique
- And how long you can hold a plank
Just for comparison:
I started with week 1: 17 burpees, 12 push ups and 1 min plank
After week 4: 20 burpees, 17 push ups and 1:30 min plank.
Not bad for 4 weeks right?
I definitely feel the difference and that’s the most important change.
As I probably told you, I personally work out to maintain my fitness and get fitter for my health and for my work.
A nice side effect would be to get a slimmer figure, but it’s not my main agenda.
I really love how much more flexible I got, I can almost do the splits again and I add this to my current goal – to be able to do the splits perfectly after the 12 weeks are over.
Crazy how fast the time flies. This whole guide will have taken me 3 months, that’s a quarter year! Just let that sink in.
In 3 months so much can happen. You are in control of your health, of your well-being, of your job, of your relationships and everything else.
